Horses and Bets
A group of friends decided to go to the horse races this past weekend at the Sam Houston Race Park and we had a blast. Steve and his friend Kyle taught me how to bet; they had a strategy of looking at the horse stats. However, I stuck with looking at the odds, horse name and comments from the last race. My strategy seemed to work, because out of 10 possible bets, I won at least 9 times. It was really exciting to win...even if it was just $7 or $10 dollars. Steve and I won $30 at the end of the night. Here are some highlights of our night.
