Even though Halloween was low key this year (last year we went to a party in Washington, D.C dressed up as Frida and Nacho Libre) it was the best. We we're blessed to have Little Oliver celebrate his first Halloween at his Tios house. Ollie dressed up as a little Lion (since we all know what a fighter he is) and his Tios also got him a monkey costume; he was so cute in both. The poor little guy had to deal with double the pictures. He was over that real quick.
It was so great to see Carlos and Cassie enjoy their little guy. They have been through so much and it was nice to see them relax and embrace every moment. I caught my sissy tear up a few times; I can only imagine the excitement Carlos and Cassie felt. I love them so much. Mr. G (Carlos' dad) was also in town for the same health conference Carlos is attending, so he joined in on the Halloween fun and was such a good sport. It's always great to see Mr. G; he's a man of wise words, is always encouraging and has the best energy.
