We (FINALLY) found out what Millie is allergic to! After months of diet elimination, meds, medicated conditioners and a salmon diet that had our house smelling like Pike Place Market in Seattle... we have answers.
Millie's puppy dermatologist (yes, there is a such a thing) recommended she undergo another allergy test. We were skeptical, but we had no other option. Millie was itching to the point where she would make herself bleed and she was so miserable, we couldn't bare see her like that any longer. So we agreed.
The doctors were just as ecstatic to have answers. Millie is allergic to weeds (all kinds), mites and fleas. So even if we had her on the best flea medication, she needed something stronger. The vet clinic created a special allergy medication just for her. She's only been on the allergy meds for a week, but we've already seen improvement in her skin and attitude.
